The Italian Minister Antonio Di Pietro held today, for the second time, a conference in his party headquarter in Second Life.
Italian newspapers are reporting the success of the event and the almost one hundred attendees. During the conference someone loudly expressed doubts on the fact that Di Pietro avatar was indeed played by the Minister and not by someone else using a pre-recorded audio. The politician answered joking and then invited the attenders to ask him questions.
Antonio Di Pietro is currently Chairman of the Italian party Italia dei Valori and Italian Minister of Public Infrastructure. He also was a Member of the European Parliament, former Italian Senator. As a judge, he is a former prosecutor in the team known in Italy as Mani Pulite in the early 1990s.
