The french MMORPG Dofus has received yesterday a server side only patch improving the mounts introduced with The Riders of the Dragoturkey update and many other things. Here is the full change log.
Mounts: General modifications:
- The mount statistic evolution system has been modified. Passive gain (when the player is not connected or is not taking care of his mount) has been reduced and active gain (when the player uses attitudes to make his mount use the breeding items) has been considerably increased in order to develop interactions between characters and mounts during breeding periods.
- Mounts can get ‘tired’ after too many interactions with the breeding items. They can come out of this state after an hour but they'll actually need 24 hours to completely recover from this tiredness. This system has been set up to allow casual players to take care of their mounts (even though this is not on a regular basis) and regular players to concentrate on the breeding and practice this activity full time.
- From now on, statistics evolve in real time and no longer on the previously set hour-basis.
- Female mounts can win at random a serenity bonus each time they win another bonus.
- Male mounts can win at random an aggressiveness bonus each time they win another bonus.
- Public paddocks have been improved: we considerably increased the number of breeding items as well as their power.
- The bonus won by the mount when activating a breeding item is now displayed over the mount.
- From now on, wear of the breeding items will be calculated at each use and not one use out of 10 as previously set.
- Wild male mounts escape from the paddock after the reproduction. Their owners are being sent an in game message.
- Wild female mounts escape from the paddock once their offspring is born. Their owners are being sent an in game message.
- From now on, the maturity of the wild Dragoturkeys captured is determined at random just like its other characteristics.
- The owner of a mount is being sent an in game message if another member of his guild uses one of his mounts.
- From now on, domesticated mounts can mate as from level 10 (and not level 30 as previously set).
- The minimum level to equip a mount is displayed on the mount certificates.
Maps:
- The gate to the Dopple territory opens and closes properly.
- The monster group composition in room 5 of the Koolich Cave has been reduced (reduction of the proportion of Mama Koalaks and Drakoalaks).
