Tomorrow at 08:00 ingame time will start the deployment of a new patch for EVE Online. You are strongly suggested to set a long skill training because the downtime is expected to be long.
There will be no new content in this 24.2 MB patch but, as Kieron said in the official game forums, "This is a major step in preparation for deploying the upcoming EVE expansion, the Path to Kali. As such, there are going to be some changes made that will have an effect on the EVE community."

This patch will also officialy end the support for EVE of Windows 98, 98 SE or Millennium. Players using these old operating system are suggested to upgrade.

At the end of the patch, the mission system will be changing and missions running on older code will be disabled.
