EVE New Hardware is UP! E-mail
Wednesday, 22 February 2006
The long awaited new EVE game cluster is up and running. A small patch is necessary to let the client point to the right IP address. Forums are back online also.

On the EVE Online official forums, Kieron pointed out: "Yes, you read right, Tranquility has been reborn. The long awaited hardware has been installed and we were 7.5 hours earlier than scheduled for the return of TQ.

The patch when connecting is simply to update the EVE client with the new IP address for TQ. If the autopatcher does not work for you, you can manually download the patch from the EVE Patches page or this direct link to the patch. Hardware deployment Patch Notes are online and the Patch Notes for the Bloodline patch are also available. Bloodline patch deployment is scheduled for Tuesday, 28 February.

While the TQ deployment went smooth, we did not escape issue-free. The MyEVE and Secure pages, like account management, were unavailable for longer than expected. If you have account related issues, please file a petition or send an e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Finally, if you run into any issues with the hardware upgrade, please post them here. Please keep criticism constructive, rants and flames will be moderated.

Welcome to the new EVE experience!"
