Gamespot has a preview of Factions, the upcoming content expansion for Guild Wars. Actually it is more a first look at the Continent of Catha, the new land that will be introduced with the expansion, than a full preview.
We understand from this preview that "You won't need the original Guild Wars to play Guild Wars: Factions, though if you do own both games, you'll be able to transfer your characters between both continents by boat. Guild Wars: Factions is due to launch this spring." . This is a verygood news and keeps on the tradition of making Guild Wars the cheapest MMORPG currently available.
