When World of Warcraft was released, it was intended that the end game had to be on PvP. But probably also blizzard discovered that limited PvP, in just a few different battlegrounds and in such a protected (who said carebear?) environment tend to be repetitive and boring.
So we started to see more and more PvE end content. Big dungeons instances, big monsters with impressive drops, more level 60 quests. Gamespy has a nice list of all the level 60 content actually in the game. "So you've finally done it. You've reached level 60 in World of Warcraft. It's taken months, hundreds of quests, and thousands and thousands of dead monsters. But you've finally done it. You're level 60." Let's read on . |
