Beating for time World of Warcraft and EVE Online, City of Heroes announces the release of the first set of the new Collectible Cards Game. They say: "for the first time in the history of gaming, we will be crossing the barrier between online gaming and tabletop gaming".

I have some doubts about this first time thing , but I know it looks like interesting.

The plan is to keep the game relatively cheap. probably the main scope is not really making money from it, but more promoting the MMORPG.

Recentely they opened a web page to build you own Hero Card, and since then 25,000 player submissions were received.
