World of Warcraft is still suffering of serious server issues. Players are still reporting long queues to get in the game, more than 1,000 in queue sometimes, wich means hours of waiting just to log in. And it is not finished. Lately an event crashed 27 server.
The Inquirer says that "It seems the revenue of around 150 million Euros a quarter from its millions of subscribers is just not enough for the company to start resolving technical issues that are growing as the number of gamers continues to rise." on an article , ending with the sentence "We wonder how long Blizzard persits in sporting the Sunglasses of Ignorance." In the meantime, players are still complaining in forums, starting petitions and in some cases closing accounts for the long queues. At least they patched the movement bug: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- World of Warcraft Client Patch 1.9.2 (2006-01-11)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
General
- Characters should no longer appear to "pop" around terrain. Movement should be smoother once again.
