With an official forum post , the developers of Star Wars Galaxies announced the introduction of Vehicle combat to the game.

Here are the preliminary patch notes for the next Chapter in the Star Wars Galaxy saga: The Fury of Exar Kun. The most important addition for this patch will be the release of a new Heroic encouter in the Temple of Exar Ku.

With the latest update, Star Wars Galaxies started a new numbering for their patches. This one was called indeed Game Update 1. But what is more important is what new features and improvements the update has just introduced.
