The biggest news coming from this year Eve Online Fanfest is that CCP is working on full 3D character models to finally give its players the opportunity to walk on the metallic floor of a space station! The CCP team member T0rfi Frans has been so kind to give some more detailed explanations about what is planned in the medium and in the long term. |

As we wrote yesterday on our article about the status of EVE Kali: Revelations and Mephisto's blog entry, the next EVE Online free content patch will also contain a system which will allow to organize combat groups in squadrons, wings and fleets and keeping formations. I have a strange love/hate relationship with EVE Online . The game concept amazes me, but to be honest the time spent in game is not always fun as much as the game is fascinating. The way the economy works is - for me - the main reason to play. Not really because I like to spend hours playing the market, but because the simple fact that such a thing "is there" makes me want more EVE. Usually. |

Some kind guy at CCP decided to dedicate some time to explain us better what the new invention system is about. From this blog we apprehend that it is basically a complete overhaul of the old EVE idea of reverse engineering. The new feature seems to be going to add a lot more variety to the current game crafting system.
