Direct damage cap raised

The following change has been put on on the PvP Test server:The direct damage cap (e.g. for Armor Ignore & criticals with Lighting Strike) has been raised from 35 to 50). Also, this cap will no longer apply to PvM damage. Click here for the original post on the boards.

Macro Miners

Looking at the official forums it seems like macro mining has become a big issue on EVE Online. It is an old well known problem, not cared about enough from the dev team since now. A lot of these macro miners are selling ISK (the game currency) on sites like eBay, IGE and many many more.

Tons of free content since launch

There is a new article on the EQ2 Web site remembering how much free content has been added to the game since it went live. I have to agree that the list is quite impressive, and following the game from close I have never seen a month pass without BIG patches. The full news and the update list can be found at THIS link.
